Hofmark Brauerei has brewed beer since 1590 in the Bavarian Forest. The brewery produces a range of beers including hellbier, dunkelweiss, and pilsner varieties, with several lines certified as organic (BioPils, BioWeisse). The brewery adheres strictly to the Bavarian Purity Law and sources approximately 100% of raw materials regionally from Bavaria, qualifying its products to carry the protected designation of origin (g.g.A.) seal. Hofmark's beers have received multiple awards including gold at the 2018 World Beer Awards for Hofmark Zwickl and recognition of BioPils as Germany's best pilsner. The brewery emphasises hand-crafted production with natural spring water from the Bavarian Forest and production without artificial additives.
