IRECO Trading & Production S.A. has been supplying major European discounters and supermarket chains for over five decades from their facility in Steinsel, Luxembourg. Founded in 1971 by Abbas Rafii, the company is known for its distinctive roasting methods applied to a diverse range of nuts including pistachios, cashews, peanuts, macadamia nuts and almonds. The company holds IFS Quality Certification at High Level and is an official supplier to the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg.
With a production facility spanning approximately 4,000 square meters, IRECO operates 3 production lines and 7 packaging lines with a combined roasting and packaging capacity of 5 tons per hour. The company employs over 70 staff members including 20 office staff and 50 production personnel. Their core business focuses on private label production, allowing customers to customize nut products in multiple packaging styles, weights and flavors.
The facility includes connected scales, smart roasting ovens and complete industrial tools to meet strict sanitary requirements. IRECO offers both B2C packaging options including doybags, stabilo bags, flowpacks and metal tins, as well as B2B options including bulk bags and protective atmosphere packaging.
