Pécsi Sörfőzde was founded by Lipót Hirschfeld in the mid-19th century and has operated continuously since. The company returned to Hungarian ownership in 2017 and operates as a small-scale brewery. The brewery produces over 180,000 hectoliters of beer annually and supplies over 800 resellers. Its product range includes Bio Pécsi Prémium Lager (certified organic by Biokontroll Hungária), Bio Pécsi Prémium Gluténmentes Lager (gluten-free beer with individual batch certifications), Pécsi Prémium variants including Szűretlen Pils and Barna styles, Pécsi Radler (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic flavored beers), and Reboost Isotonic beverages. The company brews with selected malts, hops, and Mecsek spring water. Beverages are filled into glass bottles. The brewery operates a taproom in Pécs and conducts public facility tours showcasing its brewing processes.
