Perlage was founded in 1985 by seven brothers and their parents from the Nardi family, beginning with organic viticulture in the Riva Moretta vineyard within the Prosecco Superiore DOCG zone. The company is among the few organic Prosecco DOCG producers within the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Consortium. The winery produces a range of certified organic and vegan wines including Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Prosecco DOC, Asolo Prosecco DOCG, sparkling wines made by the Charmat and Classico methods, and still wines. Since 2004, Perlage has also produced biodynamic wines alongside its organic offerings. The company holds B Corp certification, which it claims was achieved before any other winery in its region. Perlage wines carry reduced sulfite content and are marketed as vegan, with the website referencing organic and biodynamic certifications.
