Pivovar Svijany

Svijany 1564 medium-large brewery producing unpasteurised Máz, Rytíř and Kněžna lagers.

Pivovar Svijany is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic, with documented history dating before 1564. The brewery produces a wide portfolio of Czech-style beers under traditional brewing methods, including standard lagers ranging from 10% to 15% alcohol content (such as Svijanská Desítka, Svijanský Máz, and Kvasničák), specialty varieties including Weizen and seasonal offerings, and a non-alcoholic beverage line called Svijanela available in fruit flavors. Beer is filled into glass bottles. The brewery conducts fermentation on-site and operates a shop, offers brewery tours, and hosts events at an adjoining castle venue. The company is registered as PIVOVAR SVIJANY, a.s. and maintains export sales alongside domestic distribution through an e-shop.
