RAMSEIER Suisse AG operates two pressing facilities in Sursee (Lucerne) and Oberaach (Thurgau), processing approximately 50,000 tonnes of fruit annually to produce about 40 million litres of products. The company presses approximately 8,000 litres of juice from 10,000 kilograms of fruit, achieving an 80% extraction rate. All raw materials are sourced exclusively from Switzerland and processed using modern technology.
The production process includes pressing and juice processing, concentration and reconstitution by in-house cellar masters to ensure consistent flavour throughout the year, pasteurisation before filling, and tea production. Products are filled into PET bottles, glass bottles, cans, flexible packaging, Bag-in-Box, and KEG tanks for catering. The company operates a fully automated high-bay warehouse at its Sursee facility, established in 2013, with capacity for approximately 17,000 palettes, handling around 1,000 daily.
RAMSEIER produces apple juices, mixed fruit juices, soft drinks, bottled water, apple wine (cider), and herbal teas. The company sources from fruit growers across Switzerland and maintains quality control for different fruit certifications including Bio Suisse and regional labels. By-products from pressing, including pomace, are fully repurposed as animal feed.
