Salcombe Distilling Co. operates a distillery located at the water's edge in Salcombe, South Devon. The company was established in June 2016 after two years of recipe development and distillery construction. The product range includes multiple gin expressions: Start Point (their inaugural gin, launched 2016), Rosé Sainte Marie (launched 2019), Four Seas, and limited-edition Voyager Series releases developed with renowned chefs and winemakers. Start Point received Gold at the World Gin Awards and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition within its first year. The distillery offers a Gin School experience, opened in March 2017, where visitors can learn distillation techniques and create their own 70cl bottle of gin. The company partners with the Marine Conservation Society as a company member and has implemented a gin refill scheme. Recent product innovation includes the transition to aluminium miniatures for their smaller-format offerings.
