Szerencsi Bonbon Kft. inherited the production of Szerencsi chocolate in 1996, continuing a tradition that began in 1923 when a chocolate factory opened in Szerencs. The company acquired the exclusive trademark rights to the Szerencsi brand from Nestlé Hungária in December 2018, making it the sole authorized manufacturer of confectionery products under the Szerencsi name. The company produces hand-made products, desserts, tablet and sectioned chocolates, baking cocoa powder, seasonal items (Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Halloween), sugar-free confectionery, vegan products, and seasonal pralines. It also manufactures branded chocolates for corporate and event use. The company operates an interactive workshop in Szerencs where visitors can participate in chocolate-making experiences.
