Wapnö Gård is a farm-based producer located just outside Halmstad that manufactures its own dairy products, beef, beer, malt, and organic flour. The operation encompasses a dairy (Wapnö Mejeri) producing yoghurt, cheese, and other milk products; a meat operation (Wapnö Miljökött) for beef; a brewery and malting facility (Wapnö Bryggeri); and a mill (Wapnö Kvarn) producing organic flour from grain grown on the farm's sludge-free fields. The farm operates an integrated closed-loop system that includes biogas generation, biodiesel production, and a solar park, all designed to reduce environmental impact. Milk from Wapnö produces approximately 70% lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional dairy due to the farm's biogas operations.
