Whites Speedicook Ltd

Ireland's largest oat miller and breakfast cereal producer since 1841. Offers traditional porridge, organic jumbo oats, instant varieties, granolas, and mueslis.

White's Oats has been milling oats since 1841 in Tandragee, Co. Armagh, and is now recognized as Ireland's largest oat miller and breakfast cereal producer. Founded by Thomas Henry White as a corn and flour mill, the company evolved into an innovative oat-focused business, patenting its first rolled oat flake in 1890. The company pioneered Speedicook oats in 1920, a kibbled oat variant that cooked quickly.

Currently owned by Fane Valley, a local farmer's co-operative since 1990, White's operates a state-of-the-art milling facility at Tandragee. The company has invested significantly in new product development and produces a comprehensive range of porridge and oat cereals including traditional rolled oats, organic jumbo oats, high-protein varieties, instant oats, granolas with fruit and nuts, and oat mueslis. All products are made from British and Irish-grown oats sourced through partnerships with trusted local farmers.

White's products are available across major retail channels including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Ocado, and Booths, as well as specialty retailers across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland. The brand is multi-award winning and continues to maintain market leadership in the UK oat category.
