AL.M.ME S.A is the formal legal entity representing an association of three agricultural first-degree cooperatives: A.S "NEOS" ALIAKMON, A.S MESSI, and A.S MELIKI. The cooperatives have approximately 2,200 grower members working across 3,200 hectares in central Macedonia, particularly in the Imathia region. Since 1928, these cooperatives have operated as fruit growers, and over the past 30 years have expanded into fruit and vegetable packing and food processing operations.
AL.M.ME produces canned fruits in various types including peaches, fruit cocktails, pears, raspberries, papaya and pineapple. The company also packages fruits in plastic pots in varieties such as peaches, cherries, pears, pineapple and grapes. Additionally, the company manufactures peach puree from its own sourced crop. The fruit varieties processed by the cooperatives include peaches, nectarines, kiwis, cherries and apples, sourced from member growers within their cultivation area.
