Antica Distilleria Quaglia was founded in 1890 when Cavalier Giuseppe Quaglia acquired a distillery in Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy. The company operates across four generations of family ownership and produces a range of spirits including natural liqueurs, grappas distilled by traditional direct steam method, vermouths, amari, genepy and other alpine liqueurs. The product range encompasses over 12 distinct lines including Vermouth di Torino, Aurea grappas, Vintage Spirits (20 natural liqueurs), Amari 1890, Elixir (entirely organic and ecological), Bèrto, Liquori Alpini, Tenuta Sussambrino, Mr. Quail, Ninebar and Classici Italiani. Products are filled into glass bottles. The distillery has received multiple International Wine & Spirit Competition awards, including gold awards for Fernet, Liquore al Rabarbaro, Liquore alla Camomilla and Vermouth di Torino Bianco in recent years.
