Arnaoutelis S.A. (ΑΡΝΑΟΥΤΕΛΗΣ Α.Ε.Β.Ε.) is a 100% Greek company founded in 1953 and headquartered in Lamia, Central Greece. The company processes and packages various rice varieties for major retail chains and food manufacturers through private label and bulk solutions in both domestic and export markets, with 70% of annual production exported globally.
The company operates modern facilities across 20,000 m² including raw material storage (11,000 tonnes capacity), a rice mill with four processing stages, six ecological fumigation chambers of 60 tonnes each (the largest facility in Greece using modified atmosphere technology to avoid chemical pesticides), and a fully automated packaging facility with five lines producing packages from 500g to 5kg. The facility can store 1,400 pallets of finished products.
Arnaoutelis holds internationally recognized certifications including ISO 22000:2018 for food safety management and IFS Food (Higher Level, 8th version) certification. The company is the only rice processor in Greece implementing ecological fumigation methods and maintains strict quality protocols across all production stages. The company supplies major Greek retailers including AB, Sklavenitis, Lidl, Metro, My Market, Carrefour and Proton Markets, as well as international distributors across Europe and the Middle East.
