Bakker Goedhart operates five bakeries across the Netherlands: Emmeloord, Hedel, Kerkrade, Wateringen, and a service office in Hedel. The company has been baking bread and pastries for over 125 years, with production spanning bread and rolls (brood en specialiteiten) and patisserie (cakes, pastries and desserts). The Emmeloord facility operates on four production lines running nearly 24/7 and holds SKAL certification for organic bread production across the country. Hedel operates three production lines baking large and small loaves, hamburger and hotdog rolls, and cheese-onion buns. Kerkrade uses both direct-fired and stone-oven production for floor breads, pies and rolls. Wateringen, expanded to 14,000 m² since 1982, produces seven days weekly and makes specialty items like shaped rolls and Smulbolletjes in rotating flavours. The Hedel bakery also houses a trial bakery. All five locations hold IFS certification. The company works to Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI) standards and operates a CO2 roadmap to reduce environmental impact, reducing food waste through smart ordering systems and moving towards plastic reduction in packaging. Bakker Goedhart supplies over a thousand shops daily and produces continuous production runs alongside custom last-minute requests.
