Conservas Cidacos, founded in 1940 in Autol, La Rioja, is a family-owned company now in its third generation. The group manufactures canned vegetables including asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, and pulses; purees; and cold sauces. Products are packaged in glass, aluminium, Tetra Recart, Tetra Brik, PET plastic, and single-dose formats.
The company owns or operates production facilities across Spain (including a manufacturing plant acquired with Seprolesa in León in 2016), Peru (Green Perú, acquired 2012), and China (Dali factory, Shaanxi). The group spans over 580,000 square meters of production capacity. Cidacos dedicates 2% of annual revenue to research and innovation, employing automated thermal control systems and F0 value calculation to ensure sterilisation reliability. The company manufactures tomato-based products and polished legumes using its Tetra Recart innovation—a cartoned sterilisation system that required a 7 million euro investment across 6,500 square meters.
Spanish facilities hold IFS, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. Chinese and Peruvian operations hold IFS and ISO 14001. Products are distributed to over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
