I.D.C. Holding, a.s. was founded in 1992 and privatized the historic Slovenské pečivárne in Sereď (established 1953) and Figaro Trnava (established 1906). The company now operates three production facilities: Pečivárne Sereď, Figaro Trnava, and Cífer. Annual turnover exceeds €116 million with annual production of approximately 33,501 tons. The company distributes its products under brands including Sedita, Figaro, and Verbena, with just under half of production sold domestically and the remainder exported to Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and other European and international markets including the United Kingdom, USA, South Korea, Israel, and Scandinavia.
Pečivárne Sereď produces oblátky (wafer biscuits) and sušienky (dry biscuits) including well-known products such as Horalky, Tatranky, Kávenky, Mila, Lina, Club and glazed biscuits. The facility has undergone significant modernization with approximately €90 million invested in recent years, featuring high levels of automation. Figaro Trnava manufactures chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery including caramels, hard candies, filled candies, gelatin sweets, and chocolate-coated products. The facility also produces handcrafted rock lollipops and seasonal chocolate figures for Easter and Christmas. Cífer facility focuses on chocolate compound coatings and formed chocolate figures for seasonal production.
The company holds BRC and IFS certifications across all three production sites. Products comply with EU food safety and quality regulations. The group operates subsidiary distribution companies in Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary to serve the Visegrad Four markets.
