UAB Marijampolės Pieno Konservai was established in 1977 and became a privately-held Lithuanian company in 2001. As the only canned milk producer in the Baltic states, the company is one of the largest and most capable dairy processing companies in Lithuania. The company manufactures canned milk (evaporated and sweetened condensed, in full-cream, low-fat, and plant-based fat formulations), milk powders (skimmed and whole), butter, cream, and milk concentrate. In January 2026, the company became part of VILVI Group, a major dairy processing group in the Baltic region comprising seven companies and employing approximately 1,400 staff.\n\nProduction capacity includes 2,350 tonnes of milk powder, up to 10 million cans of condensed milk, up to 1,500 tonnes of butter, and up to 3,000 tonnes of pasteurized cream per month. The company operates under certified food safety, quality management, and environmental management systems. It holds FSSC 22000 and ISO 14001 certifications. Production uses natural raw milk sourced from Lithuanian dairy producers, and approximately 90 percent of production is exported to EU countries, Africa, Asia, the United States, Cuba, Hong Kong, and other global markets. The company meets Lithuanian, EU, and Customs Union legal requirements and can fulfill specific customer requirements including Halal certification.
