Mrva & Stanko was founded in 1997 by Peter Stanko and Vladimír Mrva, an international winemaker. The company has grown from an initial production of 12,000 bottles to its current capacity of 400,000 bottles per year, positioning it as a mid-sized producer. The winery produces a range of still wines—white, rosé, and red—as well as sparkling wines (sekty). Production takes place in facilities that include barrel cellars, production areas, and a connecting underground tunnel between old and new sections of the complex. The company offers tastings led by sommeliers and facility tours that include access to barrel cellars and production facilities.
