Norrtelje Brenneri

Norrtälje craft distillery producing aquavit, gin and whisky with co-pack craft.

Founded in 2001 by Kristina and Richard Anerfält-Jansson on their family estate, Norrtälje Bränneri is one of Sweden's first small-scale craft distilleries. The company operates from a barn built in 1904 on a farm that has been in the family for five generations. Production uses copper stills and spring water from their own well, with each step—from ingredient selection through distillation, blending and bottling—carried out in-house. The company works with locally grown and organic raw materials, emphasizing traditional craft methods. The distillery produces a range of spirits including punsch (a traditional Swedish beverage), aquavit, and fruit and berry-based distillates. Products are bottled in small batches and distributed through Systembolaget, Sweden's state-controlled alcohol monopoly. The company also operates a visitor centre offering tastings, guided tours, and events such as food-and-distillate pairings.
