For retail, Saliter offers milk powders in 250-gram packages for household use. The company's consumer products include sterile glass-filled coffee cream and distinctive milk blends without whey addition, formulated with milk from the Allgäu region, as well as flavored milk drinks in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and banana varieties. In 2024, Saliter invested approximately 22 million euros in an expansion building and a second aseptic filling line, increasing total annual bottling capacity to 100 million bottles. A subsidiary of Ehrmann AG since 1998, Saliter traces its origins to 1713 when the Gabler family entered the dairy trade. The company invented roller-drum milk drying in 1896, developing the "Saliter process" for milk powder production that became adopted worldwide.
