Uab Iceco Fish
One of the fastest-growing fish processing companies in the Baltic region, specializing in salmon, herring, and white fish products. ICECO Fish offers both branded (ZIGMAS, JUNGA) and private label production for major European retailers.
UAB ICECO žuvis was established in 2015 following a reorganization of the parent company UAB ICECO, which had acquired the fish processing facility Kraitenė in 2011. The company is headquartered in southwestern Lithuania near Marijampolė, approximately 30 km from the Polish border and 250 km from the major Baltic port of Klaipėda. ICECO Fish specializes in processing farmed salmon from Norway (approximately 63% of production), herring (about 25%), and various white fish species and freshwater fish. The company maintains modern production facilities and flexible manufacturing capabilities to serve both its own brands and contract manufacturing customers.
ICECO Fish exports approximately 75% of its production to international markets, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Denmark, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Canada, and the United States. The company manufactures products under two proprietary brands: ZIGMAS (positioned in the mid-to-premium segment) and JUNGA (positioned in the economy segment). Beyond branded products, the company produces private label products for major Western European and Baltic region retailers. The company is certified to IFS (International Food Standard), possesses MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification, GlobalGAP certification, and the EU Ecolabel. Quality control is maintained through continuous physical-chemical and microbiological analysis performed in accredited laboratories in Lithuania and Germany, with regular internal and external audits of the quality management system.
