Veracruz Almonds operates six estates in Portugal's Beira Interior region, producing high-quality Mediterranean almonds through certified regenerative agriculture practices. The company manages 1,325 hectares total, with 987 dedicated to almond cultivation across seven varieties. Their production encompasses the complete value chain from soil preparation through storage, processing, and distribution, with particular emphasis on sustainable and traceable farming.

The company is pioneering the integration of advanced technologies into almond production, including blockchain traceability systems, aerial and ground drones for crop monitoring, precision irrigation management via the Vegga platform, and meteorological station networks. They were the first global almond producer to achieve blockchain traceability and hold multiple certifications including Global G.A.P, Certified Regenerative by A Greener World, FSA (with GOLD level achievement), LEAF Marque, Produção Integrada, and ESG Reporting Pioneer status.

Veracruz offers almond products in multiple formats: whole almonds with or without skin, sliced, slivered, granulated, and flour. Their consumer brand Better With provides artisanal products in 11 flavors using 100% natural ingredients with no preservatives or additives. Approximately 20% of their workforce operates in agrotech functions, reflecting their commitment to technological advancement in sustainable agriculture.
