Williams & Humbert

Sherry and brandy producer offering private-label.

Williams & Humbert was founded in 1877 by British entrepreneurs Sir Alexander Williams and Arthur Humbert, establishing the bodega as a significant producer within the Jerez region. The company played a key role in creating the Denominación de Origen Jerez-Xérès-Sherry designation. The bodega operates extensive aging facilities housing one of the largest crianza cellars in the region, where wines and brandies mature through traditional solera systems over extended periods. A distinctive aspect of production is the aging of rum in Jerez oak casks, differentiating the company's rum offerings from other producers. The company produces a comprehensive range including Sherries (Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, Palo Cortado, Cream, Pedro Ximenez, Moscatel), brandies, rums, gins, vodka, tequila, and vermouths, alongside select food products including oils, vinegars, cheeses and Iberian meats. The bodega operates visitor facilities offering guided tours and tastings, and maintains a direct retail operation through its website.
