Lataria Engiadinaisa

Engadine cheese specialities producer.

Founded in 1982, LESA operates one of Europe's highest-altitude dairies at 1,706 metres above sea level in Bever, Oberengadin, processing 5 to 6 million kilograms of alpine milk annually. The facility works exclusively with mountain milk from the Engadin region, sourced from local farmers across the valley from Martina to Maloja. The company produces a range of dairy products under its house brand Engiadina Pura, including multiple cheese varieties, yogurts, butter, and prepared fondue and raclette products. Some products are enhanced with selected ingredients from the Engadin and Graubünden region, including flowers, herbs, and oils. The company has won awards including a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards for its Bio Arvenkäse. Seasonal and regional product variants are developed in collaboration with Engadin chef Dario Cadonau.
