The company manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediate products through fermentation, chemical synthesis and purification processes, serving over 400 customers in more than 70 countries. Suanfarma's CDMO capabilities span from preclinical development through commercial manufacturing, with fermentation capacity exceeding 2,000 cubic meters and chemical synthesis reaction capacity over 800 cubic meters. Its manufacturing includes small molecule fermentation and purification for human and veterinary applications, with facilities featuring centrifugation, liquid-liquid and solid-liquid separators, rotary vacuum filtration, microfiltration, chromatography and dryer technologies. The company maintains a cGMP Kilo-Lab for small-scale chemical synthesis processes and offers expertise in complex reactions including carbonylation, hydrogenation, distillation, crystallization and cryogenic reactions. Suanfarma holds compliance with cGMP regulations required by EMA and FDA standards and operates under a proprietary technology transfer methodology named TT&GO, which applies quality-by-design principles and risk-based management to process development and scaling. The company's facilities are in continuous expansion, with recent investments in additional downstream purification lines.
