Bauer Spirits GmbH is a distillery based in Hartberg, Austria that has operated since 1920. The company produces fruit brandies (Obstbrände), schnapps and liqueurs, primarily from locally-sourced fruit grown in Styria. Production is based on short supply chains from regional fruit producers, who supply approximately 1,500 tonnes of fruit annually. The fruit is macerated and distilled on-site into spirit products that are filled into glass bottles for retail and commercial distribution.
