Broger Privatbrennerei is a craft distillery operated as a family business by two families in Klaus, Vorarlberg. The distillery performs the entire production process in-house, including milling, mashing, distillation and maturation. The company works with local farmers to source grain varieties—barley, wheat, rye and spelt—which carry the Ländle Gütesiegel regional quality mark, alongside imported barley malt from Germany and Scotland. Whiskys and rums are aged in carefully selected and previously-used oak casks over several years.
Production spans whisky, rum, gin made from juniper and local herbs, and fruit-based spirits and liqueurs. The distillery sources regional fruit varieties and alpine herbs for its eau-de-vie products. Broger operates two locations in Klaus: one at Dammweg 43 and another at Sattelberg 99, which includes a barrel store and tasting room. Both locations offer sales and tastings by appointment.
