Laki LLC was founded in 1992 in Arilje, western Serbia by the Obradovic family. Initially a fruit producer, the company has grown into a modern co-manufacturer specializing in individually quick-frozen (IQF) fruits. The company offers a wide range of products including strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants, cherries, plums, and tropical fruits like pineapple, banana, mango, and papaya. Laki also produces custom fruit mixes and smoothies tailored to client specifications.
The facility is equipped with advanced infrastructure designed to the highest food safety standards. Cold storage capacity exceeds 2,500 metric tons, with climate control maintained at -20°C to preserve nutritional content, texture, and flavor. The company operates multiple fruit plantations: one in Arilje and another near Prnjavor in northern Serbia, allowing extended harvest seasons and better quality control. Since 2016, Laki has reached highest industry standards and become a worldwide supplier.
Packaging options include click-lock cartons (200-400g), plastic trays (150-500g), pillow bags (0.2-2.5kg), doypack (0.3-1kg), and bulk carton boxes (5-15kg). The company demonstrates strong commitment to sustainability, having installed solar panels in 2022 to power its cooling systems and reduce grid electricity dependence. With over 60 employees, Laki maintains continuous training programs for skill development and innovation.
