The company operates twenty production lines offering a range of drying technologies: standard spray drying with evaporative capacity from 5 to 2,500 kg water per hour, vacuum tunnel drying for viscous and thermosensitive liquids, and electrostatic spray-drying under nitrogen using PolarDry® technology for heat and oxidation-sensitive products. Upstream services include liquid preparation (mixing, emulsification for microencapsulation, hydrolysis, filtration and heat treatments), with packaging options from 5 to 1000 kg. LIS by Lesaffre processes over 1,000 different product references annually including flavours, proteins and hydrolysates, fruit and vegetable powders, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and plant extracts for applications in food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, feed and pet food, and cosmetics.
