Macè is an Italian co-manufacturer founded over 25 years ago, based in Terre del Reno (FE), dedicated to transforming fresh fruits and vegetables into natural, high-quality products. The company specializes in three core product categories: fresh fruit juices (NFC), fresh-cut fruit, and cold sauces, all crafted using innovative HPP (High Pressure Processing) technology applied at cold temperatures. This preserves nutritional content, vitamins, and antioxidants while extending shelf-life naturally without artificial preservatives, colorants, or heat treatment.
Macè operates an integrated production system combining cold-press extraction with HPP treatment, featuring R&D capabilities with microbiological and chemical-physical quality controls. The facility is powered largely by renewable energy through 8,000 m² of solar panels and biogas generation from organic waste, with internal water purification systems ensuring sustainability. All products are packaged in mono-material 100% rPET recyclable plastic.
The company holds IFS Food and BRC Food Safety certifications, reflecting adherence to rigorous international safety standards. Macè maintains a collaborative supply chain and environmental partnership through Molini Pivetti for forest protection in Tuscany. With capacity to process approximately 80 tonnes of fruit daily and conducting thousands of microbiological and chemical-physical analyses annually, the company serves both retail private label and foodservice channels across Europe, focusing on transparency and ethical production practices.
