Molen de Krijgsman

Molen de Krijgsman is a Dutch artisanal milling company based in Oosterblokker Netherlands that provides loonmalen and loonmengen contract milling and blending services for the food industry and specialty retail.

Molen de Krijgsman is a historic grain mill founded in 1602 and operated since 1997 by the Stichting Molen De Krijgsman foundation under the management of Erik Dudink and Amanda. The mill produces approximately 1.3 million rotations annually, placing it in the top three operational mills in the Netherlands. Grains are milled on traditional millstones, preserving all nutritional content including wheat germ. The facility combines milling operations with an on-site craft bakery that produces bread using a 12-hour desem (sourdough) process with Dutch wheat. The bakery also generates renewable energy by using the mill's rotation to power a generator that supplies electricity to the bakery oven when grain is not being milled. Beyond production, the mill operates a shop selling bread, flour and baked goods, and a tearoom serving coffee, tea and homemade pastries, complemented by guided tours of the working mill.
