Perenzin Latteria

Artisan goat, cow and sheep cheese producer (1898) offering private-label.

Perenzin Latteria operates as a fifth-generation family cheesemaker established in 1898. The caseificio processes three types of milk—caprino (goat), vaccino (cow), and bufalino (buffalo)—sourced from their own suppliers, including pastoral regions of the Dolomites. Production remains predominantly handmade, with the casaro (master cheesemaker) personally executing all processing steps each morning, supported by manual operations despite modern technological infrastructure. The operation was among the pioneers of organic milk processing and has been a market leader in organic goat cheeses for over 20 years in Italy.

The company manufactures fresh cheeses, organic varieties, aged cheeses, wine-soaked (ubriacati) cheeses, and specialty products. Aging takes place in wooden-shelved storerooms where cheeses are inspected and turned daily by warehouse staff. Packaging and labeling remain non-automated, preserving the artisanal character throughout the production chain. The facility is located on Via Cervano, 85, in San Pietro di Feletto (Treviso), Italy.
