Quality Oats, based in Scheemda in the Netherlands, specializes in processing certified gluten-free oats. The company operates a proprietary oat hulling line developed in-house and handles the entire production chain from seeding through processing. Only oats grown on parcels that have had no gluten-containing crops for eight years are used, and fields are monitored multiple times during the growing season to prevent contamination. All machinery used from sowing through harvest and processing is certified gluten-free. The company produces hulled oats, broken oats, and cut oats as semi-finished products, keeping gluten levels well below the 20 ppm maximum threshold, and does not apply post-processing treatments to preserve shelf life. Quality Oats holds FSSC 22000 certification for food safety, SKAL certification for organic oat production and processing, and GMP+ certification for feed-safe production. The oats are supplied to food manufacturers and food professionals across the Netherlands and other European countries including Germany, Italy, and Romania.
