Biscuits Bouvard

Family-owned group producing savory and responsible snacks, cookies, pastries and viennoiserie. Since 1990, serving distributors and pastry professionals with quality products.

Biscuits Bouvard is a French co-manufacturer specializing in cookies, biscuits, pastries, and viennoiserie products. Founded in 1902 as a bakery in Bourg-en-Bresse and repositioned as an industrial producer in 1990, the group has grown through strategic acquisitions of family biscuit companies and now operates multiple facilities across France, Belgium, and Italy. The company produces over 105,000 tonnes annually and serves major retailers and foodservice clients with both private-label and branded products.

The group is committed to sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices. They source traceable, quality ingredients including French flour from sustainable agriculture certified by Arvalis, RSPO-segregated palm oil, and free-range eggs. Their facilities maintain certifications including IFS (100% of French plants), BRC (80% of French plants), ISO 14001 (70% of French plants), and 90% of all plants are organic-certified. They have committed to science-based emission reduction targets approved by the SBTi, aiming to reduce scope 1&2 emissions by 54.6% and scope 3 emissions by 39.4% by 2033.

Producted offerings include traditional biscuits, filled biscuits, chocolate-covered cookies, breakfast products, organic and health-focused lines, baby biscuits, cakes (Génoise multicouches), croissants, briochettes, pre-made cake bases (Prêt-à-Garnir), and fresh snacks. The group operates as a flexible co-manufacturer and has developed strong supply chain capabilities serving international and local brands.
