MINIT SLOVAKIA is a family-owned Slovak company founded in 1991 that has grown to become the largest frozen bakery producer in Slovakia. Starting from a small home bakery where brothers Ambrovics handmade French baguettes, the company has evolved into a modern industrial operation with one of Central Europe's most advanced manufacturing facilities. The company operates from a 7,000 m² facility and employs nearly one thousand people, with monthly production capacity of 2,000 tons. MINIT produces a comprehensive range of frozen bakery products including breads, viennoiserie (croissants), small cakes (minitky), bagels, rolls, and specialty items. The company is particularly known for its sourdough line featuring natural leavening (OSKAR, KVASKO, and Ďuro Truľo brands). MINIT holds IFS FOOD certification since 2016, guaranteeing strict food safety standards. The company exports to multiple European markets including Hungary, Poland, Austria, and the Baltics, with approximately one-third of production destined for export. Recent innovations include vegan product lines with V-Label certification and a fully automated warehouse opened in 2024.
