Innovafeed is a French AgTech company headquartered in Paris with production facilities in Nesle and Gouzeaucourt. The company has developed proprietary technology for insect farming and processing to create alternative proteins and oils for the animal feed industry. The company produces three product lines under the Hilucia brand: Hilucia Protéine for aquaculture, terrestrial livestock and pet food; Hilucia Huile for aquaculture, terrestrial livestock, pet food and non-food oleochemical applications; and Hilucia FRASS, a byproduct for plant applications. Innovafeed operates production facilities at Nesle and has established partnerships with major agribusiness companies including ADM and Cargill, with a facility in development in Illinois. The company's production is based on farming the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) and processing the biomass into protein and oil products.
