KEKBEL-MAX is a food processing company specializing in canned and processed mushrooms, fruits, and vegetables in glass jars, metal cans, and cardboard TETRA packaging.

Founded in 1983, KEKBEL-MAX began as a family-owned mushroom cultivation company. Following a merger between Kekbel and Max companies, the business expanded significantly, achieving 27% market share in German mushroom exports. In 2006, the company invested in modern packaging equipment for fresh mushrooms. By 2008, the company expanded into mushroom processing operations and implemented IFS Food certification.

The company is recognized as the world's first manufacturer to package mushrooms in environmentally-friendly TETRA RECART cardboard containers (since 2019). KEKBEL-MAX produces mushrooms in various formats including whole and sliced varieties with natural brine, vinegar marinades, and oil marinades. The product portfolio extends beyond mushrooms to include canned and preserved vegetables such as chickpeas, red beans, white beans, green lentils, corn, and peas. They also offer fruits in syrup including cherries, raspberries, strawberries, and mulberries.

The company uses certified equipment and quality ingredients for all production. Products are packaged in glass jars, metal cans, and cardboard containers, with custom sizing available for contract manufacturing. The company maintains continuous investment in modern machinery and serves both domestic and international markets.
