The mill's history dates to 1654, with the Löffl family currently managing operations and maintaining 100% organic certification throughout the enterprise. The company mills organic grain sourced from farmers in the districts of Ebersberg, Erding, Landshut and Rosenheim. Beyond milling, Wolfmühle offers contract services including lohnvermahlung (toll milling) and cleaning of various grains, seeds and legumes for ecological farmers. The operation is certified organic (Öko-Kontrollstelle DE-ÖKO-006) and holds the status of an approved training business for roles in event management, restaurant operations, retail and milling process technology. The property also houses a farm shop, café, event catering facilities for weddings and celebrations accommodating 30 to 80 guests, seminar space and a small mill museum open to visitors.
