Production capabilities include formulation and manufacture of documented probiotic strains in multiple formats. The company holds GMP certifications for natural health products and pharma manufacturing, with Saint-Simon authorized for human medicinal products and human investigational medicinal products since 2021. Lallemand Health Solutions offers contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services through its Expert'Biome™ platform launched in 2023, targeting the next generation of probiotics and live biotherapeutics. The company produces over 600 probiotic formulas marketed in more than 60 countries across five continents, with applications targeting gut health, mental health, women's health, skin health, oral health, natural defenses, metabolic health, sport, babies and healthy aging. In 2023, the company acquired Dietary Pros Inc., a US-based contract manufacturer specializing in probiotic supplements.
